Ear Infections????????

I have an Ear infection/swimmer's ear. What can I do to make it feel better? I know my grandma used to have old cures, but I dont know what they were. Does anyone know what I could do to relieve the pain???

  1. My grandma used to put witch hazel in our ears and or even peroxide.  But I would first consult a pharmacist.  If you were to call a local drug store ie CVS you could talk with one of them and they could advise you.


  2. My own family's long time secret: go to your family doctor and ask him.  Works every time.  

    If the pain stops suddenly, it may be because you ruptured your tympanic membrane (ear drum), and expose yourself to a major infection. Don't mess with ear problems without your doctor's input.

  3. Buy the ear drops for swimmers ear. They should help resolve some of the pain, and help it heal, but if it doesn't get better then go ahead and see the doctor.
