Ear-cam Origins ?

On a recent (last Monday ?) edition of Seven Sunrise, I caught the tail -end of a reference to ear-mounted cameras being used by security staff in Nightclubs to record and identify trouble-makers.

It seemed this is a relatively new technology/ product being used.

I have long felt the need and value for such a product in an unrelated field.

A lightweight, unobtrusive, non-static mounted, high resolution cam could be used in industrial applications for later analysis of recordings.

Web searchs reveal no such products.

Can anyone recommend information sources ?
