Ear gages/tapers.....?!?

Question

i need help. so i want that for my ears idk if i spelt gages right sorry if i didnt. but yeah do i have to go to a piercing shop or can i do it myself and how if so ?

It's gauges. ;P

You can go to a piercing shop, they'll give you a free pair of gauges. If you want to do it yourself start off small, to be safe...18g, 16g, maybe even a 14g. And just go size by size.

And remember to sterilize ANY gauges you might get. (online, from the mall, whatever.) Clean them with alcohol before you put them in your ears. :-)

you can go the a shop if you want..but you can also do it on your own..thats what I did. You can find gages at hottopic, tattoo shops or online. Start with a 16 or 14 (depending on the gage of your earring now) massage your ear lobe for about 45 seconds. I like to put anti-bacterial cream on the taper because it helps it slide through a bit easer..when your ready just push it through. It shouldn't put up too much of a fight. After you've done both ears let it be for at least two weeks then you can move down to a ten...just keep going until you're the size you want.
