  1. use Q tips don't go to far though or u could damage your ear drum

  2. Hi

Maybe he thought the waxsol would work?

It would be best if you go back to the doctor and get him to syringe it out.

    Cya

    :)

  3. Hydrogen peroxide. Drip just a little bit in, have a cotton ball handy to soak it out after it;s done it's job. It's cold and it pops and fizzles but it works instantly and absolutely

  4. My Dr. told me mix 2 parts hydrogen peroxide and 1 part rubbing alchohol and lay on my side and put it in, either pouring in or dropper in with a dropper.  It boils and bubbles and is a crazy feeling but it really works.  Get a friend or family member to help you with it so you can hold a washcloth tightly over your eye until you get the hang of how to tip your head back just right to keep it from running out.  I have done this many many times over 20 yrs and it has never harmed my hearing or my ear.  If I have an ongoing infection in my ear, it can sting for about 30 seconds or so.

  5. I suggest you keep using the product. Don't try to swab it out with a Q-tip unless it is near the surface and soft, or else you might compact it and push it further towards the ear drum.

Also, you could insert one drop of baby oil in the infecter ear to soften the wax, which might ease your pain.

    Good luck

  6. I think that ear candles are great although if the wax is really hard they might not be as affective. Putting little bit of almond oil in your ear can help soften the wax before using an ear candle.

  7. Thats really gross. Have you ever heard of Q-tips? Prevention is the key. lol.

  8. I second ear candle's, they are amazing.

A little scary at first, but they'll suck it all out.

You'll probably have to do it more than once, but it'll get a little more each time.

I had horrible wax in my ears when I had mono.

  9. ear candleing works great.  i use the candes at least once every 6 months and if my ears start bothering me or if I feel like I am getting a sinus infection - they work great.  they are not expensive and if i were you i would try before going to another doctor - you will be amazed at all the stuff that comes out of your ears

  10. YOU NEED TO GO TO ANOTHER DR. SO-THEY CAN FLUSH YOUR EAR....

  11. I have the same problem.  I use a water pik.  It's like a miniature water jet.  Shoots warm water in to my ears, which loosens the wax and lets it drain out.

    Like this one.

This is a recurring problem for me, so it is worth to spend a little money.
