kay i currently have my ears and belly button pierced,

but ive asked my mom if i could get more and she said no!

i want a second hole for my ears,

my cartlige (like the top part of my ear, but only on one ear)

my nose

and my lip (on the side)

she aggreed to the ear piercings but i cant get my nose and lip done!

i think its stupid cause its my face, not hers

she says it gives a bad image but i really dont care what other people think of me and i dont understand why she does.

i could find a way to pay for it myself.. so the money isnt really an issue.

how can i convince my mom to let me get it done!?

:DDD

  1. I went through the same thing with my mom. I wanted to get my tongue pierced but she said no.I kept arguing with her and she turned out right. She told me about the risks (Chipping Teeth, Them Piercing a Vain in the Tongue, Infections, etc.) and it scared me right out of ever getting it done behind her back( Which I Was Planning To Do Anyway).

If you do get your lip pierced it can damage your teeth and gums. Noses are highly to get infections because the nose is a very unsanitary place on the body.

She is really thinking about your health and the risks of getting these 4 new things on your body get pierced.

Later on in life when it comes to a job interview

Visible Piercings/Tattoos can hurt your chances of getting the job.

    HOPE THIS HELPS!!!!

  2. I wouldnt let you get it done either. Its FUGLY !!

  3. well you need parents consent unless you do it yourself...

but uhm i have sooo many peircings.....

that i kinda regret them all...

ahahaha i have too many....waaaaaaay too many...

but uhhhh try proving to your mother you are mature enough to get them...=]

  4. sorry idk. but if you find a way please let me know. i'm trying to get my mom to let me get my tounge periced. i'll probably get a thumbs down but whateves:)

hope lady luck on your side:)

  5. You can't. Your mom knows that if you get it you will regret it when you look at pictures later on in life of you like that. You will think you looked like a freak. No offense. Just listen to your mother. If you want it when you turn 18 then you can get it but until then, don't go against your mothers wishes. Best of luck.

  6. Listen to your mom.

  7. side of the lip and nose is the most flipping ugly place to get pierced

  8. I know what you're feeling and I understand fully that you feel it's your body and that you should do what you like with it. But I'm a little concerned that you said "i really dont care what other people think of me". You should care. A lot. Because what people think of you is a reflection of how you feel about yourself and I would like to think that you care about yourself a lot. That's not to say that you shouldn't have piercings, but that you should love yourself above all other things. Self-esteem is an important thing for a woman and you'll feel super-empowered when you feel OK about yourself.

So now to answer the question; someone I know had a nasty issue when her lip piercing was taken out and it left a horrid scar. She wore it about halfway through college and then decided to take it out and she looked a mess for about 6 months (try putting a band-aid on your lip or nose and you'll realize it's not much fun!). Anyway, she's a beautiful woman but that scar made a nasty old mess.

Personally, I'd stay away from your face altogether and just have the ear done. A small nose stud can be cute, but splash the cash and go somewhere good, so they can put it in the fold of your nose and if you decided to ditch it in a few years you won't notice the scar.

  9. Dude, You're fourteen, wait a while.

My mom didn't let me get anything except my ears done until I was sixteen.

My I'm seventeen and she'll let me get anything I want, piercing wise.

You need to stop begging, and show her that you are mature enough.

  10. First, it may matter how old you are. If you are very young (say under 14) then there is just more risk as you could be at school doing some mandatory PE and some dummy rips out one of your piercings. Ouch!

What you could do is wait until you are a bit older, after you get your ear cartilage pierced that your mom has already agreed to. Then you could take your mom to the piercer again, like even at Clair's Botique in the mall and show her the most tiny stud, and say, "Mom, that is the one I'd like to have my nose pierced with. It's so tiny it won't even be noticable." Once she sees that it is tiny, she may allow you to get a nose piercing. Having a small stud is great allowing the nose to heal easily. Afterwards you can put in something bigger.

IMHO, don't ask to get 4 piercings at a time... too much of a shocker. Just move slowly, say every 6 months or so.

Also the nice thing about piercings is that you can take them out any time...whereas tattoos are permanent. So don't believe that they are ugly because any day you don't like piercings, you can take them all out in 5 minutes tops.

PS-I recommend having nose pierced by gun (very quick) than by needle. I've had my nose pierced both ways.

  11. Idk how old you are,

but if you really want to have this done,

just be straight up w/ your mom.

thats how i got my tongue pierced

    and if else fails-get a fake I.D

thats what ive used to get my nose pierced

    and my tragus and conch

  12. You're totally right.

You have the right to **** up your own body.
