Ear pain, neck pain and headaches due to dental issues?

I have had an earache in my right ear for about a month and a half and some pain in my left ear for about a month now. That was the beginning. I also have pain going down the right side of my neck, shoulder and arm. A week ago I started having headaches in the front of my face. Like the middle of my forehead and nose. ( I have never had headaches before) I went to the ER becuase the ear pain was so bad. They told me that my ears were fine and after looking in my mouth said that the pain was from my bad teeth. I have been to the dentist and I am scheduled to have 4 teeth removed next week. I am worried that my teeth are not the problem. (since I have no pain in my mouth)

Anyone out there have any of these symptoms?

  1. I had the same issue.  I would cry all night because of the terrible pain in my ears and throughout my body (even into my arms).  I went to the dentist immediately.  I've had root canals before and the pain in my jaw was similar.  Turned out to be a huge deal  I was put on vicodin for my pain until I could be seen by my dental surgeon.

They say your that your overall health starts with your mouth.  If your teeth aren't the problem but your dentist says they are bad you should still get them taken care of before they get worse.  Goodluck!

  2. The teeth don't hurt when they are infected, underneath. However, the infection can quickly go to the brain and that is way serious! It is so close in proximity. Teeth will make everything, connected to your sinuses ache, and often give you fever.
