Ear piercing [Cartilage].. Too Young?

Question

Okay so do you think that 13 is too young to be getting an ear piercing, the piercing I'm talking about is on the ear [cartilage]. Would you let your daughter get that pierced at 13 or is it too young. I think its a fine age, what about ya.

i dont think its too young. my neice when she was 15 and had both sides done, her belly button and her tongue. i think the cartialge piercing is cute so id say go for it

It's actually fine i don't think 13 is too young. but it might hurt and burn a little afterwords. and if i had a daughter i wouldn't mind if shes get one its her choice.

I was 13 the first ime I got my ears pierced. I see nothing wrong with getting this piercing. I would hold off on things like tattoos until 16 though.

It really depends on the young person in question.

Cartilage piercings are difficult to heal. Are they mature enough to take care of it properly? Are they mature enough to realize they can't change jewelry all the time and not at all for the first few months? Are they mature enough to understand that they often take over a year to heal?

If they are mature and responsible, I don't see a problem. But mature and responsible don't often go with 13 years old.

im 13, and i, plus lots of my friends have our cartlidge peirced. so no. but just be careful it hurts a lot =/

13 isn't to young at all. I would let my daughter have one when ever she wanted because after all, its her life and therefore her choice.
