Question:

Ear piercing and stretching.?

Hi

Okay, well, my left ear has a 5mm stretch which is a 4g i think?

Anyway, i decided to stretch the hole above it also. I Started off with a 1.2 then up to a 1.6mm---and for ages ive been trying to put a 2mm but for the life of me it just wont go, and i hate making ears bleed, so i will not force it in.

Anyway, i tried again today cause its been way over a month since the last stretch. I still could not get it through. So i thought, why not put two bcrs in? Not permantly, i know that would stretch the ear uneven. I just thought i could for a couple hours to make it easier for the 2mm to go in.

Anyway, i put two 1.2mm bcrs in. It felt like a sharp pin prick. Then the pain went away immediately afterwards. But i was shocked to find a teeny bit of blood there (not a drop but a bit) and i was worried, i dont like my ears to bleed and they never have before. Do you think i should take this as a sign to downsize? If you do, then i think i probabl y will, im not asking for advice i wont take. Ill heed any advice if it is proper. Also is it even possible for a tiny 2mm to even get a blowout???

its a small size so i dont know?

any help would be appreciated.

thank you.

  1. Nah, with that small of a gauge i wouldn't worry about a blowout.

If your having trouble putting them in just do it when you come out of the shower (your ears are more flexible then)and put a bit of lubricant on the taper before stretching.

The only thing you should worry about is possible scar tissue.

    Which can cause two problems.

    1. Harder to shrink back to normal size in the future.

    2. Possibly more painful to stretch in the future.
