Ear piercing at home by yourself?

Question

i know a lot of you dont think its safe but i pierced my second hole yesterday and i liked it, and it went fine. and now i want a third hole. is it dangerous to do a third hole by yourself since its near your cartilage? will it hurt a lot more the the first and second holes? so if anyone has every pierced a third hole themself please answer and tell me how it went and what you did! thank youu <3

i wouldnt im no doctor, but im pretty sure there is a nerve in/near your cartilage that if you hit it that side of your face gets paralyzed. but then again like i said im not positive. so to be sure check with you doctor and if im wrong i guess go for it. if im right, yeah i wouldnt.

the third hole would be kinda bad. cuz if u dont do it in the right place it will hurt. and it might like bring probles to ur ear. go to a nurse or go somewhere pro

yea i have 13 piercings in my ears and i did em all myself, just make sure ur hands and everything ur going to use are SUPER clean. and make sure to clean the area with alcohol.  good luck if it hurts put ice

I did mines by myself :) i did my 3rd and 4th hole by myself cuz i still had alot of space before my cartilage and it healed just fine, i have my second hole too. to me it didnt hurt more it was the same pain because it still wasnt at the cartilage, i think that if it didnt hurt you then the 3rd one will be the same because thats still on the lobe and not carilage.

The steps took:

1)i soaked the earing to pierce it with in hydrogen peroxide (to take out the bactira) Make sure the earing is not fake.

2) put ice on your ear it might help.

3) Then get a cotten ball and clean your ear with hydrogen peroxide or rubbing alcohol.

4) Then i pierced my  ear.

5) After i pierced it i cleaned it with anti-bactiral soap and i also did a sea salt soak.

A sea salt soak is wen u get 1/4 tablespoon of sea salt and mix it in 1 cup of warm water and you clean the piercing with that, sea salt soaks are the best things to clean piercings with :]

doing this your self aint too bright.  not only the higher you go the more dangerous it gets but. if you miss , you&#039;ll be bleedin&#039; for awhile.. oh yea---- if you miss, you could get a bitchen keloid scar to go with it... not a great idea . you&#039;ve been lucky so far.....

Ice your ear and poke a hole with a hole puncher it works good I have done it 8 times! Looks good on me

like what gossipgirl said be careful! you dont want an ear infection or anything like that...trust me it re-pierced my holes and it was infected with in a week...ugh...

I did it and as long as you get the hole in the right spot that you want  and keep them clean it should be fine if you were to do the cartilage your self it would hella hurt

DONT DO IT- you could really miss up your earlobe- let the first(second) heal-

Don&#039;t do it, you are in risk of an infection if done by yourself. Ear piercings have to be done with the right sterlized equippment to insure your safety. Just get it done by a pro piercer.

i suggest you let the first one heal for awhile first. I have pierced my ears multiple times...three holes on one ear and 7 on the other. I have four in a row on my left ear that i did on my own. I was really young, if I wanted it today and didn&#039;t have it I would probably see a professional and get it done by them because there is a great chance of the piercings becoming infected when you do it yourself. I&#039;m sure you know that by now. Anyway when i pierced the third holes it felt the same as the second ones
