Ear piercings... hurt?!?!?

Question

Okay... im getting my 2nd hole done on my ears and proabably my cartiledge done too.!

im geting them both done with a gun and ive heard that it hurts from some ppl and some ppl say it doesnt... im such a baby but i really wanna get it!

if anyone has gotten it... let me know how it feels and stuff and also for those ppl with many piercings,... where on the ear besides those placs would hurt the least?

i got my 3nd ear piercing a week ago and it didnt hurt but when you get it done it will hurt for a second or two when they are putting it through your ear so it will only hurt for for a second and then you are fine and it is totally worth it too so to me it didnt hurt at all but when they put it though your ear it is just a pinch and then you look great!!!!!

and it feels the same if you get it on the lope or cartilage, cause got my cartilage done and 2 or my lope so i would say get it done and then look great lol!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!good luck

The second hole in the ear is gonna feel just like the first! Go for it :)

On the other hand, getting your cartlidge pierced is another story.... If you get it done with just a regular gun then you should be ok, but it is a little more painful! (beware, if you have sensitive ears it will never heal and will be a waste of money)

Now if you plan on going with a bar through your ear .... THAT HURTS!

i got my cartiledge peirced a little while ago with a gun and it didnt hurt at all. You really should get it done with a needle though instead of a gun because it has a higher risk of getting deformed/infected with the use of a gun. mine formed a small bump on the back of it and i had to take the stud out and let the hole close up. The gun is fine though for peircing lobes.

it doesn't hurt at all. It feels just like the lobe piercing. on a scale of 1-10 its like a 2 for the lobe and a 4 for the cartilige. it really doesnt hurt at all.

My mom pierced my first and second hole because she had a piercing gun when she was in beauty school! It hurts at first because its a loud spring noise but it doesnt really hurt after that! =] I think its the noise that makes it worse than it really is!  Haha It will be fine! Have fun!

I know that cartilage hurts , but ears don't hurt if you get them done professionally , but it all depends on your pain tolerance .\

DONT GET IT DONE WITH A GUN! Especially your cartilage, because if thats done with a gun apparenly it can shatter.

And plus, needles are so much more cleaner than guns.

I had my second hole done with a needle, it was very pain-less, similar to how my first holes felt.

I've heard cartilage can really hurt because if you feel it, its harder than your earlobe. Make sure you go to a proper piercers.

I've gotten all that pierced, and the lobe hurts the least, because its all soft tissue, it just feels like someones pinching your ear with their nails, and the cartilage doesnt hurt anymore than that, but will make a loud pop because its hard, so most people are just shocked by the noise and are, i guess, tricked into thinking it hurts.

Getting your ears double pierced doesn't hurt at all! It feels just like your first piercing.

And I'm not sure about your cartilage, because I haven't had it done. But I know it hurts more than the normal ear piercings.

Well I've had pretty much every piercing you could get, apart from... yea... lol.

Your ear lobes and one above are the most painless of the lot. With a gun you just get a sharp prick and it's over, it may sting for a bit after wards, but you soon forget about it.

As for the cartilage, this is probably the next least painful I found. Same principle though

The most painful part of your ear would be the cartilage in the middle of the ear.

As for most painful piercing over all I'd say your nose, and I got mine done with a nose gun...

sorry to say this, but anywhere on the ear other than the bottom (the regular earrings) hurt because even when you squeeze/pinch it with your fingers, you can feel the thick cartilage;

and by the way, the gun is only recommended for the regular part, everywhere else should be needle

i got my second holes a couple years ago.. and it didnt hurt. only a second you feel something and then it just feels like weird. but it doesnt really hurt.

I pierced my own ears with an earing... and it only hurt for a second but after I got one in, it didnt hurt at all, i couldnt stop piercing my ears myself. i did my whole ear. with a gun, it doesnt hurt at all, especially the cartilage.
