Ear stinks really bad. How do you get rid of this fowl odor?

My ears have never smelled a day in my life and then one day i'm picking the c**p in my ear then sniff it because it looks funny and almost puke. My ears have been emitting fowl odors for 2 weeks. Anybody know what to do? I tried getting it all out by sticking my finger wayy deep in there and then scraping it out, but that hurt. Could I be hitting my ear drum doing that?

(Yes, I know it's disgusting. I don't want to hear how gross it is to pick your ear, or sniff ear wax. Please I just want some advice.)

It sounds like you have a ear infection, you should probably go to the doctor so he can give you some antibiotics. You dont want to mess around with your ears and possibly damage them.

You need to have your ears irrigated. You might be getting a fungus in there, but whatever it is the wax is not working it's way out like it should and there's water getting trapped also. No, you can't stick your finger in there to dig it out unless you'd like to puncture your ear drum. Just get them irrigated.

It sounds like you have an outer ear infection, more commonly known as "swimmer's ear". However, you don't have to be a swimmer to get this infection. Right now, don't pick at your ear. You should give your doctor a call. Often they can flush out the infected debris and prescribe antibiotic ear drops.

Go to your local drug store and buy an ear wash kit.  follow the directions just as written.  Do not use too much force. By the way if you have never picked and sniffed how do you know your ears have never stunk.?  The best thing to do would be to  have your doctor wash out your ears.You have probably scraped out too much of the protective ear wax and now bacteria/fungus have a free passage.  If you are under 12 years of age. only use the ear wash with an adult supervision. If used wrong you could lose you hearing.

I boil my ears out with peroxide, it gets it all out. Just pour some in and let it boil, it tickles and fizzes,dissolvesdissolves all the wax and gross stuff. Then just turn your ear over and let it run out. then do the side other side the same way. I take a q tip and dry the inside of my ear, then I put just a pea size amount of neosporin in my ear to lubericate it. This also gusrds against infection. It will help with the odor to get this out from time to time.

it also gets other stuff out like hair, any bugs anything that does not belong in there. You will be able to hear better than ever.
