Ear stretching help!?

last night i stretched my ears from a 2g to a 0g. my left went in fine, the stretching part wasnt the problem! i did however have difficulties getting the plug in. so after multiple tries, i decided to leave the stretcher in for an hour and then try. this time it worked fine. i then decided to do the same with the other ear. so i left the taper in for about an hour and then tried again. this time it didnt work. so i left the 0g taper in it and i still have it in now. IT IS SUPER PAINFUL! this ear has always been difficult to stretch but never this bad. should i leave the taper in until its healed then try and put the plug in. i know i'll look silly with one plug and one taper but i just want to be safe. it's unbarebly painful trying to move it and stuff. please help! i'm worried!

it bled a little bit doing it, but thats always happened with my bigger stretches

what shall i do?!

  1. Been there.

I left the tapper in for a day, not that big of a deal, but after the day it still hurt to stick it through my ear...but I did anyway.

Get some lub and ram it through, unless you have thin earlobes, then you should just wait.

  2. omg wth?

stretch ears? your not supposed to be streching your ears, hun. that could lead to some real bad tears in cartelige and stuff

  3. slow it down a little... the bleeding indicates that you are tearing the ear lobe.  i've always used a different technique.  i'll take numerous mcdonald's straws and slit them down the middle.  cut it into inch long pieces and insert them in your ear.  put one inside the other until they fill your piercing.  then daily, add one more until they match the largest end of your plug.  then just switch it out.  looks silly, but it works.

i've also discovered neoprene plugs!  my last set i got were awesome!  just fold them so that they will fit into your ear and they will expand to fill the hole.  you may have some soreness for a couple days, but because they are pliable, they will give a little without damaging your ear.

  4. hey!! well i have 0gage also i guess its different for everyone but all you have to do is deal with the pain grrl its not that bad the more u think about it the worser its going to feeel remember its alll in your head!!!

  5. When you stretch your ears, you should ALWAYS leave the taper in after you stretch it for a week or two, I know it looks really stupid, but you just stretched your skin apart and to take it out, let it shrink up while its out, and then force a plug into your ear is a very bad idea. Since you're in pain, leave the taper in until you can literally flick the long part and move it around a bunch without it hurting AT ALL. Your ear shouldn't bleed. When you gauge your ears, you are stretching the skin, therefore, there should be no blood. But, if there is blood, that means you tore your earlobe. Don't mess with it at all for about a month besides cleaning it. Your ear needs to heal the part that was ripped. Try lubing your ear with vasoline before stretching it next time, and go very slow, it's best to gauge your ears right after you get out of the shower because the skin is more loose. Also, don't gauge your ears any more for the next few months because your ear needs to heal. I hope I helped!

  6. ill give u sum advice...muscle up and just ram it through..itll probly hurt alot but once its through just leave it for ages..if u cant take the pain u dont deserve to hav stretchers....mine have bled numerous times and ive had alot of trouble but it usually heals pretty quickly.

  7. Take the taper out.  Wait for like a week or so (Untill your ear seems like it's fine.)  Then try putting it back in. It will not close up through a week time period so you don't need to worry about that.  And just to remind you... never go too big with the sizes! Do it 2 sizes at a time... Which is what you're doing now :) Like the 2 to the 0 Then the zero to a double zero and so on... Strech slowy.

  8. I say keep the taper in until it heals just to make sure it doenst blow out.

  9. ow my god what the H our you doing. is this some kind of mid evil torture

sorry for the bad anser but me get 2 points
