smells horrible. I feel slightly deaf in that ear and very sick.

We had to just take my earing out but I can even bear to touch my ear.

How can I get rid of the infection i have alchohol wipes but it hurts even to lightly touch it or will it just heal?

  2. It sounds very infected. I suggest going to see your doctor about antibiotics and extra help.

  3. Omg i thought you meant it went INSIDE your ear then

    :O

You need to be more clear about things lol

Also: go see the doc, there is creams and liquid anti-septics you can use :)

  4. You need to go to the doctor and get antibiotics.  If it smells horrible than it is infected.

  5. No, don't put alcohol wipes on it. Just bathe it regularly with warm salt water and whack a bit of Savlon on there too. Leave the earring out.

You say you have gone deaf in your ear? am I misreading your question? did the earring actually go into the ear canal ? If it's just an ear piercing just do as I said and don't keep touching it. If symptoms get worse than see your GP

  6. its an ear infucktion ..see doctor  gold finger about it.. if you dont you can loose your ear loob

  7. This has to be handled very carefully! Please trust me, I've experienced earring infections of this degree in the past.

First of all, it WILL NOT heal on it's own.

Getting the earring out is the first step.

You should then take a q-tip and dip it in rubbing alcohol. Wipe the ear thoroughly, removing any visible outer 'crust',  dried pus, dried blood, fresh pus, etc. Then gently apply pressure to see if any pus actually exits the piercing hole. If it only weeps, then take another clean q-tip, squeeze a pea sized drop of neosporin onto it and wipe this on the piercing front and back (This is a readily available topical antibiotic that will work to treat the infection). It may seem annoying, but leave the globs on. Now take a band-aid and place it on your ear so that the white middle part is around the piercing and the adhesive part is on one side inside your ear and on the other side along the back of your head.

Repeat this once a day for at least a week.

If there is no improvement after a day (reduced swelling, less tenderness, less pus, etc) I recommend you see a doctor immediately for a course of antibiotics. Other bad signs- red lines traveling outward from site of infection and/or fever.

When I did this to a piecing I've had for 5 years the hole actually survived, I'm not sure whether yours will or not, but good luck!

To avoid infection in the future, never touch your piercing with unwashed hands, also only wear gold or sterling silver studs (the cause of my infection was an earring made of cheap pot metal).

  8. Try piercing the other ear. If the same thing happens, you may need to think about getting a tattoo.

  9. go to A&E

if not see a doctor asap
