Earl Woods is still alive: Does Tiger play in the US Open?

Do you think if Tiger's dad was alive he would allow him to rush out of rehab to play the US open and subsequently end his season.

You guys are dumb of course he plays. it is the biggest tournament of the year (some say other majors or fedex cup) and he wants it more that it is at torrey. his dad would not have made the decision he would have played no doubt.

My personal feeling ? Tiger Woods would not have played if his Dad were alive because his Dad would not jeopardize a career for one tournament -- U.S. Open or not!!

Tiger said his doctors told him he would not further damage the knee by playing.  It would be quite painful but nothing else.  So Tiger played.  So I think his dads existence  would have been immaterial to his decision.
