TAKEN BY FORCE

Hack the code, or else explode

the timer is ticking down closer,

We must get in, and then begin

dismantling heretic posers,

Ask the Pope to bless the rope,

the scope of hopeless disaster,

Moaning songs that don’t belong

in a chorus sung for the master…

  1. Nothing here feels forced, in fact, I was going to compliment you on your astounding rhythm and brilliant rhymes, both end and internal. You can take any poem of mine by force and rip it to shreds if you so desire. Wonderful work, as ever, as always.

  2. What Dondi said...

  3. You got past my critical guard, I think you slunk under the gate.....I am a sucker for tight meter and clear rhymes...tho' I do fight against it.

    See-saw, Marjorie Daw

Johnnie shall have a new master

He shall have but a penny a day

Because he can't go any faster................hm?

  4. The words fit here or so appear

The answers are strewn all about

Packed in tight hid in plain sight

Pleading with us to let them out

TD - Done and done well

  5. As in Goldilocks and the 3 bears!!

This one is done just right !!   Cheers !!

  6. Line five is a GOOD one.

What type of rhyme isn't being used here?

I don't really even know what this said, but it sure was fun to read. It sounded like music. I don't mean like Bach or something, just some kind of chord progression on an acoustic. A little ditty if you will.

  7. I don't know if you have done "it" because I missed several episodes. It sounds revolutionary and I like it.

  8. You've been vaccuming haven't you? ROFLMAO

No lift-off from Err Force One on this one. But it does Fly by itself!

The Jellz zong (Cynthia put down the coffee NOW)

    I am a Pilot Poet

I pile words here and there

    using any words I like

    I really couldn't care

As long as I can get a laugh

    it's something I can share

    Here's my very latest pile,

what's that? say, put it where?

    (how rude!)

  9. No forcing here, forcing comes when line one is fixed and line two or three has to end in a suitable rhyme.

This is a problem for pen and ink poetry, but with a PC if line three and one dont rhyme then change line one if nothing suitable rhymes with it, easy, (Then do the pen and Ink thing)

  10. I think I'll force a rhyme or two,

    Santa's in the chimney flue,

The birds are eating all the stew,

I wonder if this hat is new,

The girl next door has eyes of blue,

The cow out back just told me moo,

I tried to force some rhymes for you,

So tell me now, how did I do?

  11. well, it's not pensive rape, if that's what you're asking...
