Earlier I asked, what should I when the bank start foreclosing my house. I have not pay since Feb 08.?

I did not anwser the bank calls or emails. Because I lost my job and was not able to pay. I need to know what to do when they post eviction paper on my door. They have not. I believe they will do soon. I do not want to file for bankupcy. Thank you so much for all your responses.

it is unfortunate to know you have lost your job. But don't give up. Call the bank and explain the situation. They may or may not help. At least get an answer so you don't have to worry more than you are already. Fileing for bankruptcy may help you stay in your home longer. Not doing anything puts you in default, creditors say you failed to do something. Maybe if you look at other alternatives with what you have may help you in the long run. Not answering the calls may have hurt you. You could have worked out some kind of deal with them if you didn't ignore them. Are you working now? If not you better be prepared to move to another location. You could do a short sell.

Start packing and find some place to live. Nobody wants to file bankruptcy....but....when the start collecting of the money you owe them and garnish your wages and bank account, you'll have wanted to file.....that's the only thing that will stop a garnishment, help in a foreclosure. If you don't protect yourself now....Credit is ruined, you'll have a hard time finding another place to live, and heck...no money in your account when you need to pay rent!  Should call the bank and advise them of what your intent is.....they probably could have helped you!

If you are working now file chapter 13 bankruptcy and swallow your pride if you want to stay in your house.  Bankruptcy is not the end of the world.
