Hello! I am 9w 1d pregnant. For the past week I keep feeling this weird sensation in my lower region of abdomen as well as upper part of stomach. It feels almost like if you were holding a butterfly by one wing and the other one is flapping and hitting your finger. You kno wwhat I mean? I sometimes also feel something like movement in my uterus. I just had a baby 6 months ago. Do you think because of being preggers that amount of time ago that I could be more in tune with my body and feeling the baby move already? or do you think the flutters are braxton hicks? Is it too soon to feel them?

  1. well ur usterus contracts the whole time ur pregnant u usually just cant feel it for a while

and now maybe ur uterus is contracting or its they baby

  2. technically B-H start around 6 weeks, but you don't feel them until you midway through if at all... I however am like you and very in tune with my body, and have been noticing B-H for a few weeks (i'm 18 weeks)

what your describing sounds more like the first fetal movements which you typically don't feel until 15 weeks at the earliest...

    or it may be gas?

    anyway, congrats!

  3. Your uterus contracts through out the entire pregnancy, so it's quite possible that because you also recently had a baby, that you are more in-tune with what is happening in your body. I absolutely believe that what you feel could be the baby. I felt my son move at 16 weeks, but I'd been feeling *something* weird going on much earlier than that.

Trust your body, and your instinct. 98% of the time, we're right about what's going on inside our bodies =]. Congratulations!!
