So...I wear real gold earrings and i've been noticing that my right earlobe has a dry, flaky, red patch

What should i do...i already took off my earrings

  1. Most likely to be infection, If it was an allergy both sides would be equally affected.

    Have you injured your ear in any way? -  maybe a bump you hardly noticed, is it the side you predominantly sleep on?

    You have left the ear rings out, so keep the lobe clean and maybe try an antihistamine cream like Anthisan.


  2. Make sure you clean the part of the earring that is going into your ear every day. Also....it might be a metal allerigc reaction

  3. Hi, it sounds like you could be reacting to the metal in the earring, I used to get this to, I can now only wear white gold. Leave the earrings out and try to wear jewelery that is nickle free. Put some savlon on the earlobe if it&#039;s a little sore
