Early 90's Board Game (Medieval Style)?

I remember seeing commercials on tv about this board game the name that comes to mind is dark tales but i guess thats not the game i remember it had a lion and a magician figurine in it it looked somewhat like dugons and dragons

I had a game similar to Dungeons and Dragons but it came with 2 boards that had maps on both sides.  So it was a total of 4 different stories, came with a ton of cards and pieces, with a video about 30 minutes long showing how to play the game.  Don't know if it's what you are looking for, but it was called "Dragon Strike."
