Question:

Early Admissions and Scholarships?

I will graduate high school may 2009.

I need to raise my ACT score by one point to be eligible for a presidential scholarship that covers tuition and housing. I plan on taking the October ACT and after getting my scores back, applying to the college of my choice.

So, around late mid-November I should have my scores and have everything squared away to apply. (even if my score isnt raised, i still qualify for a scholarship that covers tuition.)

Is November of this year a good time to apply to ensure that I get the scholarship I want?

  1. If you really want to go to this school and it is your first choice, then i say apply for early admission. You can even apply for outside scholarships from websites too. But always have a back up plan and apply to at least another college while applying to your choice for early decision college because you don't want to face regret in the long. You can apply for the scholarship early and you can even apply for the FAFSA to get more money in your pocket. If you got the grades for it then i say apply early.

  2. Personally I always like to say "Early bird gets the worm!"

    Good luck!
