Tomorrow, I have to give a brief, 5 minute oral presentation on the Early American Colonists. My topic was very general so I'm trying to add details to the information given to me rather than searching endlessly for something new to add.

So the part I'm working to embellish on says: In 1640, the population of the American Colonies was only 28,000 hardly souls. Practically all of these first colonists lived in Virginia and Massachusetts.

So, my question for that part is why did they live only in Virginia and Massachusetts?

  1. Weave into the story the biomagnetic conflagoration theory.  This theory is based on the idea that the earth has a soul and seeks to self-perpetuate itself through the morphing of cultures, biological diversity and such.  The earth attracted these colonists to these places to eradicate what it felt to be inferior species of man, which were taking a strong foothold.  Good luck

  2. They didn't know the land and that's were they stopped...I think that's were some Native Americans lived, and they taught the English how to survive...then once they learned the English would take advantage of them. They had to know the land first before they expanded.
