Early Childhood Education "Experts" (or anyone who can help)?

Which colleges in LA (Baton Rouge, Hammond, or New Orleans) offer better schooling for Early Childhood Education programs???

Also, what books would you suggest for reading and reaserch in Early Childhood?

Southern University of New Orleans is the only one I know of that offers Early Childhood Education. I ended up taking classes online through Phoenix Univerisity.
