Hey ladies.... it's me again.... last month was a negative for me so i'm giving it a new try.... my question is: Why am I feeling these little sharp pains in my lower abs on the left side and in the lower middle? They last for only a couple of seconds at a time alternating the spots. My ovulation calculator says that my date of ovulation starts on the 28th, what is going on? Is it possible to ovulate earlier? And the pains are very regular.

  1. use opk instead of calculators they work best instead.

  2. yes you can ovulate at different times.i use answer ovulation test .they work..My Doctor told me I when I would ovulate on clomid that I would feel a twinge or nagging pain on one side.Lasting secs, to mins, to hours.I had it today for about 25 mins. They feel like there in the middle but there not.

  3. YES it's possible! I really hate to see people relying on 'calculators' and not their own bodies.  A calculator is impersonal and will not tell you with any certainty at all when you will ovulate. It will give you an educated guess based on an average cycle, but it won't tell you when your body is ready to ovulate. An OPK can help with that, or a fertility monitor, or even charting for a few months will help you pinpoint your most likely fertile days.

You very well could be ovulating, or preparing to. That said, ovulation does not last more than minutes. It doesn't 'start' on a day, it happens on a day. Once released, your egg will only live for 12-24 hours.

I wish you all the luck and if you have any questions, please send me an email.

  4. I went through alot! Pills,Ovulation test, watching the calendar,Taking my temp!!! You name it and my husband and I probably tried it!! We tried for 3 years!!! My friend gave me this advice and I got pregnant in 3 months after trying it the way she told me!! *Below is what she told me*

Remember you ovulate 14-16 days before you start your period. The time to have s*x to get pregnant is when you are very wet, slippery, and stretchy down there*******,alot of women's right or left side will hurt when the egg is released.******* You need to have s*x atleast two or three times the week of ovulation to get preganant.*****VERY IMPORTANT! Stay laying down 30-45 minutes after s*x DO NOT GET UP AT ALL.WAIT TO PEE!!! *****It takes 30-45 minutes for the sperm to reach the egg to fertilize it.Hope this helps!!:) Good luck****

It took me three years of trying and I got this advice from a friend and I got pregnant in Three months after I took her advice:)

All it really is is just paying attention to your body! :) Once you get that down you might as well go out and start buying maternity clothes and baby items!!! :)
