Early Termination Fee's

I heard that one state cut early termination fee's. I think its California. If that's true I'm leaving tMobile and getting an AT&T iPhone 3G.

  1. The judges signature on the California Superior Court order has not had time to dry. The decision will be appealed....There is no expression by the Appellate Court if the elimination will take immediate effect or if they keep things as they presently stand pending review on Appeal.

    Take no action until this is clarified by the Courts. Good Luck.  


  2. A California court ruled Sprint's fees were illegal.

    However, this may not last long.  The Federal Communications Commission is considering imposing a rule - backed by the wireless industry - which might decree that only federal authorities can regulate early termination fees.


  3. Yes, California just announced that it is illegal for cell phone companies to charge termination fees for someone changing service before a contract expires.
