  5. There is a great book called "The Beast".  You could also have them paint tiger prints using orange and black finger paint.  Paper plate masks are always a hit also.  Compare a tiger to a household cat.  How are they alike and different?  Tiger coloring sheet to teach patterning.  In pretend center, set up a zoo with animals.  Some great resource sites are perpetual preschool, preschool printables, a to z teacher stuff, and DLTK.  I highly suggest checking out these sites.  I use DLTK almost daily.

  6. YOU COULD TALK ABOUT OTHER ANIMALS, TALK ABOUT HE LETTER "T", SING A SONG 10 LITTLE TIGERS TO THE TUNE OF 10 LITTLE INDIANS, WHERE TIGERS LIVE, WHAT THEY EAT, WHAT COLOR(S) THEY ARE, ETC.  THERE ARE A LOT OF THINGS THAT CAN BE DONE WITH TIGER AS THE THEME.
