Early head start question for people in the child care profession?

Question

How does your team make sure there is a comprehensive system for preventing health problems and for intervening when problems exist, especially with regard to pregnant women and children from birth to three years of age?

Policy - you do have a handbook, correct?  The child that is sick is  isolated from the other children and watched by a non-pregnant staff member until the parent arrives to pick him/her up.  Simple as that.
