1) Georgia

2)USC

3) Ohio St

4)Oklahoma

5)Florida

6)LSU

7)Missouri

8)West Virginia

9)Clemson

10) Texas.

Georgia: Schedule is way too brutal to survive an unbeaten season not only that Florida is seeking revenge. My prediction 10-2 , no SEC championship game. Falls to #8

USC: Gets big boost from the Ohio St win, even with the win problems at QB does show. Games against tougher Pac 10 defenses show to have better luck against the Trojans. Record 11-1 gets number #1 late

in year after SEC championship game upset.

Ohio St: Not so lucky this year. Start off with that loss to USC. Then looks as if they start rolling with blowouts until they travel to Wisconsin or Illinoise. One of these two gets them. Record 10-2 falls to #6

Oklahoma: Things looking good for the sooners then a sudden errrrk.

Them Horns gets em. Suffer a Big 12 loss in championship game to

Missouri. Record 11-2 falls to #5

Florida: Up and down year but still finds ways too win. Gets revenge on Georgia but slips to a SEC opponent. Loses the SEC championship game that cost then the NC game. Record 11-2 falls to #3

LSU: Start off fast but when SEC conference play starts they get a touch of reality. The qb is a year or two away on learning how to win in SEC play. Record 9-3 falls out of Top 10

Missouri : Has things rolling but has two slips during the year. Upset over Oklahoma in BIg 12 helps them get the BCS bid. Record 11-2 ranked # 4

West Virginia: Two years in a row this team was in the position at the

right time. This year they get it done. Lone loss this year and the upset in the SEC championship puts the Mountaineers in the NC game

against USC . Record 11-1 . Ranked #2

Clemson: Opening win against Alabama got things rolling but a tough loss to a very weak ACC opponent and a not too impressive win in ACC championship didnt help their cause. Move up two spots to #7

Record 11-2

  1. UGA- wins the first couple of games and then gets hammered by the tough conference schedule and dont rule out ASU. They are way overrated and they have a big target on thier backs.

    2. USC- if they beat Ohio State they will hang around the top ten like a bad case of herpes.

    3. Ohio state will probably choke against USC and then coast through thier remaining non-conference schedule. They might wind up with only a few losses but the Big 10 suck anyways.

    4. Choklahoma will, undoubtely choke again and lose a few. Texas, texas A&M, and Kansas will spell trouble for Choklahoma. They could possibly end up in the Big 12 Championship game again, but then they will choke as usual in their BCS appearance.

    5. Florida will do well, even with a tough schedule they will fare well as usual. Meyers has only lost 2 games in Gainesville and thats scary. Florida State sucks so forget an out of conference loss. Home games with LSU, away games at Tennessee, and their annual showdown with Uga at Jacksonville will be thier toughest games. UF will should do well  and end up in atlanta in december.

    6. LSU will need to find a QB to lead them to victory. A very strong defense will be present along with an very seasoned offensive line and running game. If LSU finds a qb quickly, they will make the trip to atlanta with a possible BCS game at stake.

    7. Missouri will lose a few and end up in a second tier bowl. I really dont care though.

    8. UWV will probably fare well. Thier new coach did well in their bowl game but can he do it in the regular season. Auburn at home puts dents in their NC hopes, and they usually have trouble with Rutgers, Louisville, Pitt, and South Florida. I would expect them to be in the Big East championship competition, but a NC is over the horizon with Rodriguez gone.

    9. Clemson might do well but that close loss to Auburn in the Peach Bowl makes me think they might be over-rated. and they are.

    10. Texas needs to come back and win the Big 12 to get back in the game. I think they were slightly under-rated last year and they will need to win alot of games to get back in the NC race.

  2. I thnk you have some pretty good points here; the only thing I can't agree with is USC losing a PAC-10 game. If they beat OSU I'd have to think they will go undefeated.

Granted, USC somehow has been creative lately finding a way to lose a seemingly un-losable game, but I think the PAC-10 is vastly overrated and USC **SHOULD** beat all of them handily.

  3. 1 Georgia - it is always tough to wear that #1 ranking. If Georgia just loses one game I still say they are worthy of NC bid. I do not think a 2 loss team will go this year.  Team is strong but has tough games NC bid  if only one loss

#2  USC- I hate this team but probably still the best in the Pac 10 depending on how Sanchez or Mustain play.  See at least 2 losses and maybe a couple of upsets. USC is known as a dynasty of late and everyone they play plays them extra hard.

#3 Ohio State - This Ranking is a joke, after a blowout by USC this ranking will fall.

#4 Oklahoma - Team still good after a couple of key losses to NFL. All their important games are in Norman except the Washington game and Oklahoma State. But look out OU  this will be your most important game. A loss in Stillwater to a team that has ranked in the top 10 offensively for the last 3 years and has added improvements on their horrible defense could cost you a Big 12 Championship game and BCS bid.

#5 Florida - Schedule easier than rival Georgia. But look out teams may take note of Michigan on how to shut down T-Bow Offense. Georgia game will decide if Tebow goes to the big stage.

#6 LSU- Non conference schedule is weak but losses to Auburn, Florida and Georgia too much and possble loss in Fayetteville to Arkansas in the last game as Razorbacks will be starting to grasp Petrino offense

#7 Missouri- Should repeat as Big Twelve North Champs  and opening game against Illinois will set the tone for a great season thanks to all the tough games being in Mizzou NC bid easy if they win the Big 12 Championship.

#8 West Virginia - Key out of conference games against Auburn and at Colorado will be key. Colorado tough at home but game is in Sept so weather won't be a factor. However I still don't think team strong enough for NC bid, BCS  bid for sure

#9 Clemson - Season starts with loss to Alabama falls out of top ten.

#10 Texas - Season starts out great  4-0 then BOOM!!  At Colorado at Oklahoma and Missouri in Austin then at Kansas are too much.
