I'm not sure how much luck you're going to have finding homes in that area in that price range, but I did find you a link about homes for sale in Indy that fall into the price range you mentioned:

You might check www.mibor.net but I really doubt you'll find anything that cheap.  I lived 8 houses off Kessler and when I sold 2 years ago, the lot alone was valued at $40k.

PS It might help if you clarified whether you mean the North-South portion of Kessler over by the art museum, or the East-West portion near Broadripple.  My house was near the latter.

Good luck, that's a pretty trendy area. If you do find something, it's probably going to need some major renovations.

You might find a lot without a house on it for that price.

go to www.realtor.com, click advanced search, then enter the zip code in which you are looking, and then you can change the price ranges in which you want. I don't know that you will find something in that price range, and if you do it is not going to be in a good area of town.  Good luck though.
