I'm trying to explain how this quote is an example of regional writing by describing coon-can & Florida flip as unique customs/games. I have no idea what Florida flip is..please help! Thanks in advance :)

it's a drinking game

the object is to down the alcoholic contents of one's cup, place the empty cup on the edge of the table and with your index finger in a hook-like shape, hit the cup from the bottom and try to make it flip as many times as possible and land back on the table right-side up...
