I need to get $4,500 to be a foreign exchange student next year. I am only fourteen and you have to be fifteen to get a job. I don't want my parents to have to drive me because that would defeat the purpose of getting a profit. I know that i am of age to work at a farm, (does it include horse barns?) and i am with in walking distance of the village. Is it legal to wipe down tables for 50 cents a table? I really need ideas! This means A LOT to me.

  1. Aawww you're so sweet.

I know a few kids who work under the age of 14 but they don't get paid a lot. A girl I know, age 13, works at an out-of-school club for £30 a week and then washes hair in a hairdressers for £17 a day. Don't know if it's legal and it is in the UK.

Hope it all goes well for you. You sound like a lovely girl.

  2. you should be able to work at a horse barn.

you could babysit. and if you don't want people to take you to their houses, you could have the kids come to your house.

Do you know how to make stuff?  If you can sew or something, try selling the stuff you make.

  3. Well it is really different with me i had a full time job at a green house since i was 13 but in ur case i would babysit or even do some work for some neighbour's As in cutting grass  weeding gardens or raking grass ... there is a whole list of stuff u can do  working on a farm sounds good to  but it also depends what u really like doing   all the best luck
