Earphones/earbuds problem?

Question

Recently everytime I buy new earphones after a month maybe 4 months, on one of the earbuds the sound goes off all of a sudden, Why does this happen?

That's why I stopped buying expensive ones and got $10 Gummi ones of $10 sony ones they are good :D

Mite be the plug on your ipod, i had the same problem. One of the contacts was worn out so i had to push the headphone plug to the side for me to hear sound in both ears, either that or if the headphones actually blow out on one side it could be that your mp3/ipod is overpowering the side the goes out and blowing the speaker.

u got to put the headphones in all the way on ur ipod or wateva

Try cleaning the plug or the part that goes in to the device. I have the same problem.
