Earrings get funny smell?

my earrings get a funny smell after a few weeks of wearing them. i will only smell it after touching them like if im changing them or taking them out when im washing my hair or something like that. what causes it? does anybody else get it? is there any way that i can stop it?

i know exactly what youre talking about. its basically dead skin cells and old soaps accumulating on the jewelry. the smell is worse on body jewelry/piercing stretchers (prolly cause theyre larger than an average earring). just take more time to clean/rinse/dry the area well or just dont shower with them on.

They just pick up dirt and grease from your hair - it is usually a good idea to remove them and clean them fairly often or you might get an infection in the piercing.

Take bath daily. Upon that wash your ears and wipe them regularly.

Or wash ur earrings in rintha or soap water

haha yeah i get it....its all the build up of conditioner and shapoo and all taht......take them out b4 u shower or change them more often
