Question:

Ears aching after running?

I ran a mile in gym last week, haven't run for a while. After running it, my ears ached like crazy! It usually happens if it is cold when I run, but it was 65-70 degrees out. This happens any time i run long distances. Its inner ear. Is there anybody that can tell me what I can do to prevent this and get rid of it? And tell me why it happens?

  1. That happens to me if I do something strenuous and my blood pressure goes up too high...

If it happens again, you might want to see a sports therapist and see if it is something serious or just a strange quirk.

  2. Don't worry too much about it. When that happens it just means that you weren't breathing correctly and that air got into your ears.  It usually happens with colder air but don't worry. Your good:)

  3. sorry i'm not going to be able to help too much but i just wanted to say that this happens to me too! after a few minutes, i find that it goes away.
