Ears piercing.????????????????

Question

Ok i got my ears pierced like 5-6 months ago. and it still didnt heal. MAinly because i wore those cheap medal studs. so i bought a sterling silver earring like last week. and had them on ever since. my left earlobe doesnt hurt right now but my right one does a little. the people at claires said my right earlobe was 1/3 thicker than my left earlobe. so my question is. will my right ear piercing heal eventually? im not too worry bout the left cause it doesnt hurt at all right now.

Yeah your ear piercing should heal eventually. If it starts to puss yellowy/greeny pus, then its infected, in which case you could go to the docs and get anti biotics to clear it up. If it isnt infected, and its just sore, im pretty sure it just needs time and for you to keep cleaning it.  Silver and gold arnt good for new piercings, contrary to popular belief. In fact they are detrimental because they are porous, and so, are a breeding ground for bacteria- thats a fact btw. Stainless steel or titanium would be much better options for jewerelly. In fact, I think the change in jewerelly might be whats needed to help your piercing heal up.

And they will heal, they may take time, but they will.

Yes no doubt.

You should try gold earrings.

You can get some pretty amazing ones from walmart.

The real ones.

But even if it is thicker it will heal with proper cleaning.

try putting alcohol and peroxide on them cause it might help them heal. yea it will heal but it might take some time. but watch sleeping on them cause it can irritate it and it can make them really sore that you won't be able to touch them or anything. but just keep putting that stuff on them and it should be fine.

It will heal....

don't use silver earrings, people always make this mistake, the best earrings for healing ears are surgical steal ones!

using a weak solution of warm salt water will also help speed the process, clean 2 times a day.

and use gauge 18 (or 16) earrings until healed.
