Question:

Earth's Gravitational Pull

What do you think about the earth's gravitational pull having any effect on you or a specific day? You know those days when things just don't seem to go right. I had that yesterday. A lot of people I know were thinking that things have been really wonky recently. Is there any truth to that?

  1. I can't see the connection between Earth's gravity and people's mood or, in fact anything socially related.

I heard more or less about moon's gravity having effect, but I never felt any different, with either gravitational phenomena.

  2. Any fluctuations you may experience as you move around will be so small they will be far, far below your ability to detect or feel them. So they can't possibly have anything to do with your wonkiness or any other personal characteristic.

  3. Well, Earth's pull doesn't have very much to do with wonkiness... It's fairly constant, and the small variances have little to do with how good or bad a persons' day is...

  4. how can u compare people mood to earth gravitational pull. come on use ur brain. wordup

  5. I don't know if the Earth's pull has anything to do with 'wonkyness' However, I have seen people acting a little more obtuse that normal over the last couple of days, especially at work. Here's something that might explain it.

The pull of the Moon can create tides several feet high on the Earth and can actually distort the planet itself by as much as 30 centimeters. The Moon doesn't rotate in a perfect circle around the Earth. Maybe the Moon is at it's closest approach to the Earth right now and generating a little extra pull.
