Does the crust of the earth shift underneath many vehicles during rush hour traffic out of a large city each day?

  1. It's either shifting or the cars are moving.  I'm not a scientist so I really couldn't say.  Although, I've noticed that it seems to be shifting in the other direction for cars going the other way.


  2. The Earth's crust is constantly shifting, but because continental crust averages about 25 miles in thickness, it is unaffected by the weight of any man-made objects.

  4. NO! They do not have enough weight or mass to effect the Earth's crust.

  5. Tectonic plates do the shifting.

    The crust  just keeps the hot creamy filling inside.
