a power surge when we turn the lights back on? I'm not trying to be funny,I know very little about hydro.I do know that in summer we are asked to reduce the use of air conditioning units and reduce the use of hydro around peak use times such as supper time.We are told thatif we overuse the power we could experience brown outs or power outages. This is what made me think about if anything could happen when so many people could potentioally reduce their power at one time and then turn back on power sources en mass at the end of the hour.Does anyone have any ideas on this?

  1. The power grid was handling the power before hand and will handle it afterwards.  Most people will be turning things back on at different moments anyway.  I plan on going as long as I can even after the hour.  Good luck
