Earth hour is 2nite at 8pm all around the world...?

Please switch off your light and unnused appliances. If you don't, then you don't care about the future of us as humans, us as a planet or yourself. GLOBAL WARMING IS REAL!!!!!! it doesnt matter what you think, or what you want to think, it is reality. And unless we ALL change, we are never going to be able to survive. So if you can switch off your lights 2nite and support the fight against global warming!!!!

I'm sort of skeptic about global warming, but I completely support the conservation of energy and have great respect for the environment.

Wow, if you believe that nonsense, you must think you're a more caring American then I am.

Statistically, we just went through one of the coolest Winters in generations.  Just ask anyone in the Mid West.

Should lights and appliances be turned off at 8:00 Eastern, Central, Mountain or Pacific time?  This ruse is similar to the one about do not buy gas for your car for one day to force the gas companies to take note.  Silly nonsense that has no results.

Try to relax, Dude, we will survive.  The Planet has been through this before and will go through it again.

i will be sure to turn on my lights and anything else i feel like turning on, i bet i won't destroy the earth. earth hour what a joke think about it even if global warming is real doing anything for a hour will make no difference. well it may make you feel good to do something worthless thinking your helping.

Lights consume practically no power compared to all the refrigerators, freezers, washing machines, dryers etc. that I'm sure will be running busily with no interruption. Earth Hour is simply a band wagon fad thing that is really a joke when you look at the real perspective of does it accomplish anything? NO Everyone is aware that North Americans have caused today's problems for the most part with living to excess in every shape, way, and form. The problem is the governments and industries that won't change a thing because it affects jobs, taxes, and basically only monetary reasons. The problem is us as well because there is no need for anyone to drive a vehicle with the huge engine sizes available, no need for the huge house, or the fact everyone has too much - except me I'm poor! Think of needs and wants then you'll get a true perspective of how much you over consume. Environmentalism is something you live day to day not 60 minutes a year! You either grew up with that respect and value or you didn't because unfortunately it's hard to teach a developed person new ways in this sense.
