Earth quakes in California today??

Question

I live in south cal and today about 11:45 there was an earthquake and i heard someone saying that its gana happen again later today but stronger.... so is it true??

NO ONE, ABSOLUTELY NO ONE can predict earthquakes. Seismologist, study, read, research, monitor earthquakes and they cannot predict them.

PLZ PEOPLE GET INFORMED B 4 YOU OPEN YOUR MOUTH.

I woulden't worry...they have allready had about a dozen little after shocks and the little ones like today are better because they release the pressure slowly instead of one giant earthquake....so I think we are good.I too live in Socal and I am not worried.

Orignally they said 5.8 but it has now been down sized to a 5.4 but still too big if u ask me.

It was freaky huh? The ground was rolling like a huge mechanical bull.

There probably won't be a bigger one after because the afterschocks have already started (there have been around 20 afterschocks) and only one has been large enough to be felt and it was only 3.8 ...

Hope for the best & prepare for the worst, I guess. Just be careful!

Not sure.

But I felt it also.

It started at 11:42 a.m. this morning.

It was around chino hills, san bernadino, spreaded from L.A. towards San Diego. It was a 5.8 earthquake. It was BIG.

It was pretty strong and really long.  Noone can know if there will be a bigger one.  The lady from Cal Tech said there is only about a 5% chance of it being a before shock.

i live in chino hills which was the epicenter.

someone said that there mite be a bigger one coming by the next 3 days. not sure tho.

Anyone claiming to predict earthquakes is a charlatan and anyone that would believe such a person is a fool.
