  1. In BC it is just a matter of time before there is a big earthquake.  There are small ones on a regular basis.

  2. We have experience earthquakes. Years ago while living in Edmonton we felt a quake that originated in Alaska, buildings swayed. From California to Alaska runs the San Andreas Fault and we know someday a huge quake will happen, it is inevitable. In Vancouver every kids has an earthquake pack in school containing water, blankets etc. in case they become trapped.

There is nothing you can do and so fear is a pointless emotion. Where do you live? I know I feel very safe in Alberta, I only have to worry about toronado's.

  3. oh hun no there is no earthquake coming to canada or north america so dont worry about it ok's?

  4. in Toronto there hasn't been one, that i can remember so u don't have to be scared. Canada i believe is one big tectonic plate so there's no need to worry about earth quakes.

the only place u have to worry about earthquakes is in California.

  5. don't loose sleep over it BUT do be aware,  I've lived in several areas of this country and have been in many quakes.  If you live on the west coast that is a little more geologically active and has more quakes many of them just little ground shakers but the big brains say a large one is coming to the Vancouver area eventually.  In the central part of the country Ontario & Quebec there have been many minor quakes over the years but only window rattling.

I live within a KM of an active fault line and I don't loose any sleep over it.

  6. no no not as big as that i think and also if there wuz just a earthquake in 3 states or something we have protection which it tells u when its comeing (but sometimes its just 2 mins b4) but w.e THERE ISNT 1 COMEING i think dont worry
