So all I keep hearing about is to go under a desk or table, but what if you have a bachelor style apartment and don't use a table, and the desk isn't sturdy? I live on the beach in an old multilevel apartment building on the second floor. So where is the next best thing if you don't have a sturdy table or desk? Yeah the 5.4 earthquake wasn't big, but let me tell you imagine how it feels in this old apartment building because that jolt and sway was crazy!

  1. jus catch any hard thing like a bed or a sofa....u can either get out of the house if u r terribly scared and get under a tree!!!

  2. I guess you could go under the bed or in the shower since nothing will wall form there.

  3. Hi! I am going to los angeles in a few days (from italy) and i am really scared! anyway, if you dont have tables or stuff, i was told in an earthqauke safety lesson that you need to stand under a door cuz the wall around the door is of a stronger material than the rest of the wall.
