Earthquake in SoCal?

Question

Hey, I just saw some birds fight on a railing in my apartment building. Is that a sign of an earthquake? Hasn't been one yet, but does that mean one is going to happen?

THey were like slapping each other and stuff lol.

BTW im in southern california, everybody says there's supposed to be an earthquake soon :/

You can not decide with one incident.But you can suspect if you are shore in noticing the fallowing changes.

Unusual animal behaviors before earthquakes

Mammals Nervous, restless, irritated, panic and act “crazy”.

Human Headache, nausea, urge to vomit, giddiness, dizziness, heart complaints, nervous        

disorders, hysteria, bad weather symptoms.

Dogs Bark loudly, whine ingratiatingly, anxious.  Act as if tracking an unseen enemy; panic and bite owners, bark and pull owners outside, howl insufferably as if they have rabies.

Cats Restless, meow pathetically, take kittens outside, climb high trees, jerk ears, lay ears back, leave home for days, disappear.

Rats Disappear, fuss, panic, running on wires.

Horses Stamp, snort, tremble, jump, buck, fall to the ground.

Cows Bellow, crowd together, run away in panic.

Pigs Aggressively bite each other, dig under fences, attempt to climb walls.

Deer Leave bush and forest, do not fear humans, run to humans, run aimlessly.

Yup, birds slapping each other is not a good sign.

I'd be even more worried if it were pigs though.

Relax. An earthquake is going to happen and there is nothing that you can do about it.

The birds acting nervous could be a sign.  Fighting is probably just because it is mating season.   We are due for a huge portion of the San Andreas to give way but soon may not even be in our lifetime.  There are many more chances for smaller ones to keep us occupied while waiting for the Big One that will will arrive sooner or later.
