Earthquake in los angeles?

in an old multilevel building by the beach... where do you go when the earthquake is happening? i just grabbed my cat and went to the door with the door open... the whole apartment building was shaking like jello... and im on the lower units... so the fear of it collapsing on my head.

  5. You're supposed to hide under a table but i dont think anyone really does it.

    When the earthquake hit me it was only for a hot second and my bed was shaking so I didn't really do anything.

  6. U need a survival kit for at least 72 hours which specially prepared for Earthquake and a safety helmet.

    EARTHQUAKE! wear your hardhat and grap your survival kit and Move out of shake shake zone.

    If time out, look for 2 points of the building and hide there with anything can protect u.

    The 2 points refer to the right angle or the corner building structure component of Column and Beam. these are the safest spot because when collasped, it usually created a triangular volume so it is highest rate of survival than hiding in the middle of the house cos these are the weakest link of the building and they falls, they created a V collapse and finally crushed on u.

  7. I live near San Jose, I usually run outside.  I know that's not the safest thing to do, but I guess it's my instinct.
