yes my bed moved, my friend felt it in durham, another in gloucester, my brother in northampton, im in huddersfield, scared the life out of me

Yes, At 1.00 am. precisely. I thought there was a ghost in the house and I was going crazy, thank you for putting my mind at rest. My husband and I were watching t.v when the sofas we were sitting on distinctly shook violently. I live in Sale, South Manchester and have never felt such a strong quake before in my life!!!!!

You can feel it in Lincolnshire the entire flat was shaking i thought we were falling down it scared the socks off me it also got my sister in Nottingham too!

I thought my block of flats was falling down i have so much Adrenalin in me i can't sleep now!

Wow, that was something else, I did feel, A few minutes later realising what had just happend.

I woke up to a strange rumling noise. And the world a Shaking. Bringing, A new meaning to, the phraise did the Eart move for you???

Im up in greater manchester for the week looking after my new mum with 6 puppies! Been up for about 37 hours..Was just about to lay down to have a rest, and bam! The whole house shook for about 5/10 seconds.. I was in disbelief and thought I was going nutts.. lol It didnt quite register till I looked on the news!! Im still amazed, my first earthquake! :D

i woke up and thought there was a ghost under my bed, then it stopped and though i musta dreamt it, never though it was an earthquake though!

I felt nothing in South London.  I didn't even know about it till I read the questions here.  I would be interested to know how far away the tremors were felt.  Did you feel it in Blackpool?
