Did anyone just feel an earthquake ??

what was your experience like?

I'm at home with my nephew and all of a sudden there was some shaking. It took me a while to admit that it was an earthquake, but i was able to straight and pick up my dog and pet my nephew and stand in the doorway.

  4. Oh! Yes, Omg i felt it, i was in class at IVC and we were all quiet working on a problem...then for like 3 seconds, the room started to make a slow rumbling sound; we thought there was construction outside, then it got louder for like 10 more seconds. Everything and everyone was okay, but the scary part was that after class ended about 12:30-ish, i called my mom, she was all by herself with my dog at our apartment, and she skinned her knee on the carpet!!

  5. 11:39 Am. Woke up late and took a shower. Reaching over to grab my shampoo, I felt the room shake for like 20 seconds. At first I thought, the workers were moving some huge objects in the first floor with a fork lift or something, then I realized this isnt good. So i was naked and I used the Stop Drop and Roll method we learned in school.

I live in Torrance, Cali. Glendale is in Orange County right? Well, Torrance is near Hermosa Beach and I live on the second floor of my apartment, and I too felt a shake, about 20 seconds? My first experience with earthquakes so I got scared ;D.

Yeah I heard Chino was the center of it, and I heard it was pretty intense there.

It was just like being on a crazy boat .

The cabinets in my home were shaking and things were falling off the tables , shelves , etc.

I live in Aliso Viejo, about 40 minutes away from Chino Hills which is where the epicenter was (I think).

Good reminder to make sure everything in your home is earthquake safe!

My bunny warned us this morning, at about 8:00am.  She was just acting odd, and thumped for no reason (which happens from time to time) and my husband said, "I wonder if she senses an earthquake."

Apparently, the answer is yes! lol

  10. where do u live?

  11. Oh Yes i live in glendale too and I was listening to music and felt the cieling shake. I got really mad because I thought my upstairs neighbors were exercising... and then I thought  "WOW... they ARE really strong" lol... turns out it was an earthquake and not my neighbors jumping up and down. Afterwards these 2 mice that lived in my backyard came out of their holes and were walking around everywhere in panic... wow it was funny. it was fun ! I ran outside and then I had to go to school at 12.
