Earwig question?

about 15 minutes ago i squished an earwig (one of the biggest ones i've seen all summer) and its guts squirted in my eye. it burned for a few seconds but then the pain subsided and i rinsed out my eye. it still feels a little irritated and i am wondering if there is any substance in earwig guts that could be harmful to something sensitive like an eye?
