Easier in relationship when child is older?

Question

my fiance and i have an almost 6 month old baby boy. it's so hard now with him being so young. no one wants to babysit him or anything. he's a little spoiled being the only child and the only grandchild. so he's cries when we're not there and like to be held a lot. working on that. but just wondering if a relationship gets better when children are older? or is this the easiest time?

It does get easier.  I'm not sure if the circumstances get easier or you get better at it, but it does get easier.

Once my son was 1-2 it was the easiest time for me. My family wasn't as worried babysitting him and he slept on a normal schedule. But first thing worry about the being held thing. What I did was when he starts crying let him cry for a few minutes I know that sounds like torture but the baby needs to learn to self soothe too. Also when you want him to go to bed big bottle, burb then lay him down and let him cry for a few minutes then if still cryin say about 5-10 minutes later come in rock a little bit then back down.
