George foreman vs. Joe Frazier, smokin Joe was one of the greatest, but George was a power factory, Fraizer never had a chance. he got murdered in there.

If you want an example for two all time greats then the Frazier vs Foreman fight is perfect. Who would of thought it would be that easy for George when you consider how great a fighter Smokin Joe Frazier was and the 3 close fights he had with Ali winning one against him of course.

The easiest fight though would probably be the The Tyson vs Berbick fight which i remember watching on tv and i was laughing because i couldn't believe how Tyson was destroying this bum who shouldn't of even been given a chance to fight for the title he was so bad. Tyson made the guy look like a drunk 85 yr old bum on the streets and the dance he did at the end when he fell back down 3 times was the funniest thing ive seen in boxing

Easiest?

None of these were easy. Not one.

Fights that end quickly between athletes of this caliber are only due to the years of absolutely grueling training and hard work that precede.

The fight itself is just the result of the training. The price is paid before you get in the ring.

Tyson could not lose when he was following his brutal training program and spartan sparring regime. But once he stopped that (because it was so hard) he ceased to be a warrior. If he had kept training, he would never have been beat.

Foreman's defeat of Frazier looks easy, but I doubt that big George felt that way. Despite his destruction of Frazier, he still took some hard shots, and Frazier could hit. And consider the hundreds of hours of sparring that go before these matches. That is harder than the fight.

These are not easy fights, these are great fights!

It's really difficult to call any of these fights easy even though they all did end early so I'm just going to give my opinion on the most spectacular fights of this group and then say which I think was the easiest fight.  Joe Louis's demolition of Max Schmeling was probably the most impressive of the bunch.  I don't think anyone could have beaten Joe that night.  He hit Max with a body punch which froze him before battering him to the canvas in this historic fight.  Jack Dempsey's destruction of Jess Willard was probably the most vicious beating in a heavyweight title fight to this day.  Dempsey cracked Willard's cheekbone, knocked out several teeth, and broke several of his ribs, a testament to the great power of the Manassa Mauler.  The most controversial on this list is Ali vs Liston #2 when Liston a big powerful seemingly indestructible man, went down from what is now called Ali's phantom punch and many believe the fix was in.  We will never know the truth regarding this but Ali did land a quick right hand to Liston's jaw.  The question is could he have gotten up and referee Jersey Joe Walcott seemed to be confused that evening as well with not picking up the count of the timekeeper.  Sonny Liston's two 1st round kayos of Floyd Patterson seemed to be rather easy as the big Bear was way too much for the glass jawed Patterson both times.  Tyson's 1st round kayo over Michael Spinks was a matter of Mike intimidating him to the point that Spinks seemed to be scared to death of even stepping into the ring and as if he were going to his execution which it just about looked like so I guess I would call that the easiest of this great list you have.  Good question sir.

Tyson-Seldon was laughable, since Seldon went down from a non-punch.  I was really mad. . .I hadn't even twisted open my first beer of the night yet!

Tyson-Spinks was honorable, since Spinks hadn't lost in the ring yet, and therefore still considered (by some) to be the "linear champion" . . . . .91 seconds of dominance!

My favorite of your list is the Seldon KO.  The air displacement from Mike's punch snuffed Bruce like a candle flame, the punch missed by at least a foot and Bruce dropped like a stone.  Most of what you listed qualify as great fights because both fighters were great.  The two Tyson fights weren't of the stature of the others in that they were against C level fighters.  Tyson/Spinks might have been the pinnacle of Mike's career, I don't think Mike ever got any better than that night.
