You need to change at least twice, and I wouldn't go via Beziers if I were you.

From Barcelona, get the train to Port Bou (on the Franco-Spanish border.

Change trains and go to Montpellier.

Change again and go to Millau - there are lots of trains at rush hour morning and evening.

Take the spanish "Catalan Talgo" train from Barcelona to Beziers (8:45am / 12:32pm) and then a french "TER" train from Beziers to Millau (12:38pm / 2:29pm).

or if you've got some time you coud take this one and discover the nice city of Montpellier :

Take the spanish "Catalan Talgo" train from Barcelona to Montpellier (8:45am / 1:16pm) and then a french "TER" train from Montpellier to Millau (5:15pm / 6:50pm).

And you've got approx 4 hours to make a short visit of Montpellier (Place de la Comedie (five min. by walk from the train station))
