Easiest way to make a laptop sleeve (fabric) by hand?

I've already made a fabric sleve for my laptop, I made it out of a towel, and it's pretty shabby looking. I just started sewing, and don't own a sewing machine yet but I want to make another one.. anyone know of any easy ways/techniques.. or advice even to help me out? Thanks... again, nothing too complicated as I have just started this hobby...

There's a product out there, it's a heat tape, i can't remember what it's acutally called. all you do is place it, and iron it and it makes a seam. I use it to make curtains, its really great stuff

Fabric Glue. It creates a strong bond between fabrics. However, be careful during the application as the amount of glue you use will be noticeable. For example, if you use a thick stream the seam will appear large, but if you use a thin stream it will look more pleasing.
